Eve Leveaux FISTD Cecchetti

Principal. Examiner. ISTD Approved Tutor. Holder of the Maestro Cecchetti Diploma.

Eve was trained at Ballet Rambert by Madame Rambert herself where she danced with the company before leaving to start a family. On returning to teaching in 1975, Eve gained her Associate in 1976 and founded Derby Academy in 1977. Eve has since achieved all professional exams up to and including the fellowship and prestigious Enrico Cecchetti Diploma.

Chris Parkes AISTD Cecchetti

Administrative Director. Teacher of Ballet & Commercial Jazz.

Chris trained at Laine Theatre Arts and returned to the Academy to pursue his teaching qualifications. Chris teaches the child and adult ballet classes, Jazz, fitness and commercial work on our Performers' Course. Chris also runs the After Hours timetable.

Sarah Mould - AISTD Cecchetti, LAMDA Qualified

Teacher of Drama, Modern and Tap.

Sarah trained at the Italia Conti Theatre School before returning to her hometown of Stoke where she continues to perform, teach and choreograph. Sarah promotes both syllabus technique and Modern theatre dance techniques taking her inspiration from the great professionals Bob Fosse and Jerome Robbins.

Jude Savage B.A (HONS) Theatre Arts, PG DIP

Teacher of Drama and Theatre Studies.

Jude was a member of the Derby Playhouse Youth Theatre. She has taught drama in primary and secondary schools as well as teaching drama at theatre Schools. As well as teaching Jude writes and directed pantomimes as part of her theatre work.
